The Cryogenics Process Associate will perform Drug Substance handling activities across the site which include freezing and storage of Drug Substance (DS), packaging and shipping of Drug substance and samples.
This role will be assigned to support Cryogenics Warehouse Operations.
This role is required to work standard M-F schedule but may include night, weekend and/or holidays.
Support of warehouse or manufacturing operations may be required.
Key
Responsibilities:
Performs Drug Substance handling activities, including receipt, freezing, storage and transfers, to GMP manufacturing facility and finished product from production to interim storage (cold and frozen storage).
Performs Cell bank handling activities, including receipt, shipping, storage and transfers, to GMP manufacturing facility and to interim storage (frozen storage).
Maintains DS inventory levels using required systems and equipment.
Packs/ships materials to both domestic and international markets, including HazMat.
Works on routine assignments per written procedures with little to no instruction, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Adheres to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Completes GMP forms and/or batch records as required for material receiving, shipping, and freezing activities Maintains a safe work environment.
Assists with reviewing work throughout the process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a High school Diploma / GED is required for this role Previous manufacturing or GMP warehouse experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude to operate cryogenics and material handling equipment.
A valid Drivers License is required.
Previous use of personal protection equipment (PPE) preferred.
Previous knowledge of GMP environment preferred.
