Job Details
Responsibilities:
Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for retail outlets.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Manage and control all aspects of RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure inventory optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail buying role in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation.
Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and supply chain management.
Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Knowledge of RTV procedures and policies is preferred.
