Position - Summary

My client is looking for an experienced, professional services project manager, skilled in leading teams that integrate and implement product based internet applications at large companies. You've used scrum based agile methods and you've led teams delivering in Java based technologies. You know how to build success around a variety of personalities, you are capable of negotiating deliverables and dependencies with a customer, and are technical enough to lead and participate in system level solution discussions. You've probably worked as a solution architect and/or business analyst as an important step in your career. You thrive in a small company environment that's filled with committed individuals, hustle, and a passion for timely and quality deliveries.

Ideal candidates will likely have worked for a Software, Consulting or Professional Services Organization

Will Project Manage 4-8 resources

Reports to the Director of Professional Services

Required Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related area
3 - 5 Years of Project Management or Technical Team lead experience
Skilled at Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
Scrum based and Rational Unified Process management experience, capable of being a scrum master if needed
Familiar with J2EE, JQUERY UI, Web Services, SQL databases, mobile web technologies, and modern web development tools/techniques - Full Stack Java Background Ideal
Good at sizing projects, engaging and gaining buy-in from technical teams
Skilled at developing customer statements of work
Strong communications skills within your team and with your management
Strong customer communications and management skills
Please note, ability to travel is required, including internationally - 30% of your time is estimated -

Pluses:

Experienced in the use of Jira as a requirements and project management tool
PM certifications such as: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Program Management Professional (PgMP).
Experience managing off-shore resources
Experience with SaaS/Cloud environment
