Summary: Responsible for maintaining a Safe work environment and ensuring Quality in a fast paced, growing medical device business. This position is highly visibly and oversees the manufacturing activities to ensure that hour to hour work adheres to all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost standards. In addition to the daily production activities, the Manufacturing Manager will be involved in setting the strategic direction of the supply chain and must be able to influence all activities within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

People:
Leads the Operations team to ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and other standards.
Is a model for teamwork, drives completion of tasks to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs metrics are achieved even if not directly responsible for the tasks.
Create an environment and organization of highly skilled and cross-trained employees.
Safety & Quality:
Oversees the safety, quality, delivery, costs and employee engagement activities of the operations organization.
Leads the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality compliance efforts for the plant.
Maintain and develop all required production and process control documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in the Quality metrics including FPY & Complaints.
Drive the identification and resolution for all production and distribution issues.
Ensure 100% CAPA closure and manage activities related to Production and Process Control Audits.
Delivery:
Structure the organization and processes to handle long term trends in customer behavior.
Oversee production activities to drive adherence to standard plans. Take action quickly when abnormalities occur.
Monitor production plans, material reviews, and planned shipments to ensure adherence to customer expectations.
Cost:
Responsible for all operational costs, accuracies, and improvements.
Provide input to material cost improvement opportunities.
Report weekly costs, variances and planned recovery when necessary.
Employee Engagement:
Cross-trains employees, holds team accountable, develops future Leaders, and ensures all employees work to support the needs of the cell/department.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement with all levels throughout the organization.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Undergraduate degree with emphasis in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.
5-10 years with increasing responsibility in a regulated environment
Demonstrated results with continuous improvement toolkits such as Six-Sigma, Lean, VSM, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
