Director, Product Management - Media Monetization Platform

Description Deliver product roadmap plans through researching market needs and trends and anticipating future technology. Conduct competitive analysis to ensure strong position in the market and compelling product story. Develop product business justifications and plans, including financial and market analysis.  Drive the launch calendar, producing detailed launch plans and controlling release scope. Ensure that agreed entry/exit criteria and life cycle management process checkpoints are completed and help drive weekly cross-functional meetings. Document issues and risks associated with decisions made by team and regularly report on progress. Propose and implement improvements within the organization's PLM process. Work with cross-functional teams to develop complete end-to-end solutions with other product lines. Prioritize and manage product backlog, mapping desired features to appropriate releaseschedules. Work closely with architects and engineering on feature development and implementation with an eye towards improving the customer experience. Develop forecasts and financial models for new product releases. Regularly report on product revenue and budgets and adjust product line when necessary to achieve desiredfinancial targets. Be accountable for product line gross margin and deliverables against plan. Create positioning and messaging in conjunction with Marketing. Ensure product roadmap aligns with the company's overall strategy and is an integral part of its solution story. Work closely with Sales to ensure revenue and budget targets are met. Participate in customer meetings and visits, providing product overviews and roadmaps and ensuring Sales has the necessary resources to drive revenue. Cultivate relationships with 3rd party partners, sharing roadmap and development plans to keep product compatibility. Drive new revenue streams and demand generation through co-marketing, revenue share sales models, trade show collaboration and product interoperability. Good knowledge of linear and VOD technologies in the video solutions space Understand cloud video platform concepts such as multi-screen delivery, TSTV, nPVR, title management, packaging, promotions, offer management etc. Understanding usage of analytics and predictive insights to maximize revenue for operator. Understanding integration requirements for DRM, Billing, Transcoding, Recommendations etc. Experience with cloud technologies, OTT/IPTV and Hybrid TV Qualifications Education Preferred Bachelors or better in Computer Science or related field. Masters or better in Business Administration. Experience Preferred 3-5 years:1. Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role 2. Experience in product lifecycle management 3. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
